Customs Superintendent D.H.J.W. Ponnamperuma of the Customs Narcotics Control Unit assisted by Assistant Superintendent Jagath Gunathilleke apprehended the man who arrived in an Emirates flight from Dubai. Customs Assistant Director K. Premanath who conducted the preliminary inquiry handed over the suspect and the production to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations. Customs Baggage and Narcotics Director S. Ramachandran directed investigations. |
