Janashakthi takes the challenge

Janashakthi Insurance, has once again displayed its enterprise by agreeing to insure the prize for the 'hole in one' competition at the Audi Quattro Cup Golf Tournament which is due to be held on June 13, 2004.

The prize, an Audi A4 1.8 Turbo worth approximately Rs. 5.3 million, was considered to be too risky by several other leading insurance companies in Sri Lanka.

While this type of policy is implemented regularly worldwide, no other insurance company in Sri Lanka to-date has risen to such a challenge. On the other hand Janashakthi has amply proved that they are not afraid to take risks.

Speaking about Janashakthi's involvement in the Audi Quattro Cup, the Managing Director of Janashakthi Insurance, Chandra Schaffter said, "Taking risks is an inherent part of our business and we believe in taking risks because it leads to building good relationships as well.

We are proud to say that we have supported the Audi Quattro Cup, which has helped us to build good relationships," he added.
