Roofing sheets worth Rs. 20 m allegedly found at ex-UNP MP's house

A stock of roofing sheets worth nearly Rs. 20 million intended for distribution among needy families was allegedly found in the compound of former UNP MP H. R. Wimalasiri's residence by the Dickwella Police on Tuesday.

Police said the detection was made following a complaint made to the Dickwella Divisional Secretary by Matara District Freedom Alliance MP Premasiri Manage.
