Masters Advertising turns 41 Masters Advertising celebrates its 41st anniversary today. Masters Advertising was founded by Cyril E. Masilamani, a pioneer in advertising in Sri Lanka. Masters Advertising is affiliated to DDB Needham of USA. DDB is USA's largest and the world's third largest Advertising Network. DDB was recently voted Global Agency Network of the Year for 2003 by Advertising Age magazine and Global Agency of the Year for 2003 by Adweek magazine. These prestigious awards follow DDB's selection as Network of the Year by the Clios in May 2003 and the recognition of DDB U.S. as the Number One ranked agency in qualities clients most desire, awarded by the International Marketing Consultancy Ballester in July 2003. Mike Masilamani, Managing Director of Masters Advertising said "We have much to celebrate, but in particular our first Agency of Record (AOR) and some key clients gains such as Ceylinco Consolidated, Adamjee Lukmanjee and Sons, hSenid Software International and Janashakthi Insurance. But more than that it is a celebration of integrity in advertising, close working relationship with our clients and above all the championing of creative excellence." At the recent SLIM Awards Masters Advertising was ranked eighth and won gold, silver and bronze awards, Masilamani said. |
