The brand new grab hopper dredger Diya Kowulla was commissioned at the Colombo Port on Wednesday. Port Development and Shipping Minister Rauff Hakeem performed the launching ceremony. The dredger was built by I.H.C. Holland for the Sri Lanka Ports Authority at a cost of Rs. 473 million, which included an outright from the Dutch Government. The vessel is 45 metres long, 12 metres wide and 3.5 metres deep.

Muslim proposals next week

Former FEB chief granted bail
