Suspected LTTE cadres drown

Trincomalee correspondent

Two men believed to be LTTE cadres who sailed on a raft were drowned when the raft capsized.

According to information received by Police, the two men had travelled on the raft from Sampur to Navalady in Muthur. The raft, it is believed, to have capsized near Kadakarachenai.

Police also has received information that the body of a male has washed ashore at Fowl Point.
