Abandon violence EU tells Prabhakaran

The leader of the LTTE, Velupillai Prabhakaran will be told by Chris Patten, Commissioner of Charge of External Relations of the European Commission, when he meets the Tamil Tiger leader today, that the view of the international community is that the LTTE must give up violence in all its forms.
