The French warship Marne paid a courtesy call at the Colombo Port yesterday. The ship is 158 metres long and 22 metres wide with a displacement of over 18,000 tonnes. The ship had earlier called at Colombo and Male in January this year.

Major breakthrough in Asthma control

A Sri Lankan doctor has introduced a generic drug for asthma that could potentially save millions of rupees per month in foreign exchange while drastically slashing the medical bills of local patients.
