NE referendum postponed The President signed the relevant gazette notification, postponing the referendum on 6th November and it was published in the government gazette on 10th November, says a press release issued by Director General (Media) of the Presidential Secretariat. All political parties and people's organisations in the Eastern Province had appealed to the President to postpone the referendum at this juncture, it further said.
