The cortege leaves Gamagedara, Kehelwela, Kiribathkumbura for the family burial ground at 3 p.m. on 15th October 2003. Gamagedara, Kehelwela, Kiribathkumbura. 

BERMAN - ALFRED. Beloved husband of the late Mary Berman, dearly beloved father of Michael (Bryan - Sydney), Ian (Melbourne) and Moyra Brohier (Caterham, England). Cortege leaves A.F. Raymond's Funeral Parlour at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday 15th October. Cremation at General Cemetery Kanatte. 

GNANAMUTTU - PATRICK (Hewlett-Packard, Geneva). Son of the late Percy and Sheila, brother of Sarojini, Christine, Raj and Sushila (all of Australia), brother-in-law of Melony and Leroy Jansz. Cremation on 14th October in Geneva. 22/105 Athol Road, Springvale South 3172, Australia. 

MOHAMED IKRAM (Travel Air Tours). Beloved husband of Jean, loving father of Rashmilan (HSBC) and Tanzina (student - BLC International), fond son of the late Rumi Mohamed and of Mrs Zanita Mohamed, son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs Y.Z. Nallawangsa, loving brother of Wiranti, late Dhiha Minhaz, Shamil and Seraj, brother-in-law of Dr Sandy Musafer, Fiaza, Shehani, late Hilarene, Sarinthan, late Yenfu, Fawziya, Maxeeda, Razyn Fawril, Rizvi and Derin, expired. Janaza took place on 12th October (Sunday) at Jawatte Muslim Burial Ground. 163/14 A, Mihindu Mawatha, Dehiwela. 

PETER SINGHO - M.W. (J.P.) (Newsagent - Lake House, Pallebedda). Loving father of Ratnapura District Member of Parliament Ajith Kumara Meddagama, (Proprietor Mihira Group of Companies), expired on 11.10.2003 and funeral will take place at 3.00 p.m. on 16.10.2003 at Family Burial Ground Mihirawatta, Balawinna, Pallebedda. 

UMAGILIYA - WIJERATNE (Retired Inspector of Police). Beloved husband of Padma, father of Nalaka (John Keells), Kanchana (ICM), father-in-law of Siddhartha (Rupavahini), expired. Cremation on 15th October at 3 p.m. Mahaiyawa Cemetery, Kandy. No.46, Balagolle, Kengalle, Kandy.

Husband of late Amarawathie, father of Chandana (Eagle Insurance), Arjuna (Hemas), Anusha (Abu-Dhabi), father-in-law of Lakmini (Sampath Bank), Manori (ex Jafferjees) and Manjula (Abu-Dhabi), loving grandfather of Kavisha, Mohanjith, Minoli & Sanugi, expired. Funeral arrangements will be notified later. 15/157, Averiwatte Rd, Wattala. 

WIJEKULASURIYA - ANTON. Beloved husband of late Celine, much loved father of Chryshanthi (Glaxowellcome), Niranjan (Aitken Spence Printing), Roshani, Shanthini and Deepika (Standard Chartered Bank), father-in-law of Rasika (ex SriLankan Airlines), Damith Kulaweera (Hemco Ltd), and Janaka Karunanayake (Maxim Ltd.), darling grandfather of Dinuk, Shanel, Dhanuri, Shavindri and Janith, brother of Neville and Freda, expired. Cortege leaves residence 61, Sri Dhammadara Mawatha, Ratmalana at 4.00 p.m. on Wednesday 15th October for burial at Mt Lavinia Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section).
