Preference for graduates

1,800 new jobs in banks

Commercial Banks in Sri Lanka will create 1,800 new jobs before the end of this year. Preference will be given to graduates from Sri Lankan universities in the recruitment process.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) combined with the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission's (TRC) technical wing yesterday exposed a massive racket of bypassing overseas telephone calls from the SLT network denying Sri Lanka Telecom revenue running into several millions.
