Civilian killed, police prevent separatist rally in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, India, Thursday (AFP) A Muslim civilian was killed in crossfire between Muslim rebels and borders guards in Indian Kashmir, while a senior separatist and about a dozen of his supporters were detained for holding an anti-government rally, officials said Thursday.
