Peace process enabled provision of 10,000 new jobs in apparel sector - Prof. G. L. Peiris

There are certain opposing groups involved in protest campaigns demanding an end to the Ceasefire Agreement and the dismissal of the Norwegian peace team and the ceasefire monitoring mission with narrow political intentions of sabotaging the said development process and creating once again a traumatic environment within the country by instigating a war. These views were expressed by Prof. G. L. Peiris, Minister of Enterprise Development, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Minister of Constitutional Affairs.
