Nilmini lowers Sri Lanka record at Athletic Nationals

Sprinters Sugath Tillkaratne, Prasanna Amarasekera, Ranga Wimalwansa and Rohan Pushpakumara won their respective first round heats to advance to men's 400m semi-finals while long distance runner Sujeewa Nilmini Jayasena set a new Sri Lanka record on the opening day of the 81st Sri Lanka National Athletic Championships which began at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo yesterday.
