24 sick prawn farms to operate again
Twenty-four sick prawn farms in Chilaw will recommence operations
shortly, following a decision by Seylan Bank to freeze Rs. 417 million in
loans due to the bank from farmers, Christie M Perera, Secretary,
Consortium for the Development of Aquaculture in Chilaw told the Daily
News yesterday.
