WEERASINGHE ­ W.A.P.A.   Retired Administrative Assistant, Land Commissioner’s Department. Dearly beloved husband of Kusumawathie (nee Jayakody), loving father of Nimal Weerasinghe, W.A.S. Weerasinghe (Project Director (CKE) RDA), Dr Damayanthi Hapugoda (Paediatrician, Base Hospital, Homagama), father­in­law of Chandani Siriwardana (Staff Ananda College, Colombo), Dr Thamara Weerasinghe (Open University) and Dr Ananda Hapugoda (National Hospital, Colombo), expired. Cremation 14th Wednesday 4 p.m. at the Public Cemetery, Wattemulla, Banduragoda. Remains will lie at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour, Borella from 9 a.m. to 12.00 noon 12th Monday before removal for cremation on 14th.

Loving father of Ranjan (Lake House, Internal Audit) and late Shiral, father­in­law of Rosita, grandfather of Nuwan and Gayan (St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10), brother­in­law of Rev.Sr. Bertha A.C., brother of late Percy, Stanley, Tiddy, Florie, Rev.Sr. Clementa, Girlie and Celine and Trixie, at rest with Jesus. Cortege leaving residence, 260A, Maithri Mawatha, Arawwala Road, Pannipitiya at 3.30 p.m. on 13th Tuesday for interment at Christ The King Church Burial Ground, Pannipitiya.
