Drugs top black economy : Rs.50 m a day for narcotics

With the on going peace process obviating the expenditure on weapons, drugs has assumed number one spot in Sri Lanka's black economy with statistics showing a whopping 50 million rupees a day being spent by drug addicts for their "fix", according to Director Police Narcotics Bureau Pujitha Jayasundera.
