By Channa Kasturisinghe SriLankan Airlines and Emirates have increased airfares from yesterday
indicating a possible increase of airfares by other airlines in the next
couple of weeks.According to SriLankan Airlines sources the increase has
come about in terms of a fuel surcharge and according to the revised prices
a ticket for every destination excluding India would be increased by US$20.
The airfare to India will be increased by US$ 10.
