Minister of Enterprise Development, National Integration and Constitutional Affairs, Prof. G. L. Peiris, Southern Development Minister, Ananda Kularatne and Siri Andrahennadi MP inspected a mushroom export project at Angunakolapellessa last week. The project is part of the Export Processing Company launched by the Export Development Board to boost the country’s rural exports. 

Focus on expanding local motorcycle market

The joint venture partnership between TVS Group of India and United Motors Lanka Limited will focus on expanding the local motorcycle market as well as promoting motorcycles among women.Executive Director, TVS Group India R.Dinesh told the media on Tuesday in Colombo that similarities between India and Sri Lanka in terms of culture, business and people made them invest in Sri Lanka. " We see a great potential in Sri Lanka," Dinesh said.
