PERERA - WILFRED.   At Rest with Jesus. Dearly beloved husband of Daphne, darling father of Ramona (Westmann Travels) and Shirmilla, father-in-law of Lawrence Thomas (Penta Guardian) and S. Paramarajah, loving uncle of Roy (Germany) and Rohan, precious grandfather of Abiramy, Luxmi, Parvin and Eswar, expired on 24th January. Cortege leaves Residence   No. 118/56 A, St. Anthony’s Mawatha, Old Negombo Road, Wattala on Saturday 26th instant at 4 p.m. for Burial General Cemetery, Wattala.  

NOORUL - MAHFIRA   Formerly of No.6, Jailani Road, Dharga Town, daughter of late Mohamed Mahsoon Marikar and late Asmath Umma, wife of late Mr I.L.M. Aboobaker, mother of Hajiani Iynul Fazlia, mother-in-law of Al-Haj Hussain Sadique Director Hameedias Wellawatte, grandmother of Husna and Asma sister of late Nathiyathul Jiffriya and late Mohamed Gazzali. Janaza took place on 24.01.02 at Dehiwela Grand Mosque Burial Ground.   No. 43, Kawdana Road, Dehiwela. 

SURIYASINGHE - IRANGANEE (nee WEERASEKARA)   Beloved wife of Sarath Suriyasinghe (Sri Lankan Air Lines), loving sister of Anura, Titus (Elscan Ltd) and Anusha (Janashakthi Insurance), expired. Cremation will be held at General Cemetery Kadawatha on 26th Saturday. Cortege leaves residence at 3.00 p.m.   195, Galroda Road, Pahala Karagahamuna, Kadawatha. No flowers by request.

MANATHUNGA - KINGSLEY   Son of the late Mudaliyar T.S.C Manathunga and the late Mrs Manathunga, husband of Hilda, brother of Therese and Rita, late Connie, Hugh, Stanley, Noel, Pearl, Veena and Queenie, died under tragic circumstances. Cortege leaves   Mahinda Funeral Parlour, Mount Lavinia on 25th Friday January 2002 at 4.00 p.m. for burial at St Sebastian’s Church, Moratuwa 4.30 p.m.
