Cortege leaves residence on Thursday, 10th January at 5 p.m. for cremation at 6 p.m. at Kanatte General Cemetery. 373/45, Old Kottawa Road, Embuldeniya, Nugegoda. 

MERAKERLI-RHODA FELICIA nee GOONERATNE.   Beloved wife of Per Olav, Ex-wife of Reggie Perera, mother of Roshan Perera (East West Foods), Shiran Perera (Formerly of Film Location), Suranee Upendra, Tor Olav, Lille and Per Gunnar, grandmother of Shamela and Shamindra and of grandchildren in Norway, mother-in-law of Tania (Trans Asia Hotel), Shammi Upendra (Hapugastanne Plantation), Wenche, Knut and Nina, daughter of late Rose and Cyril Gooneratne and sister of late Oswald Sudesh Gooneratne, passed away after a brief illness in Norway on 4th January. Burial will take place in Meraker, Norway on 11th January 2002. Mass will be held at 6.30 a.m. on 11th January at St. Thomas Church, Kotte and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas Church, Kotte at 4.15 p.m. on the 11th January. PERERA - MRS. PREETHIMALI.   Beloved wife of Sarath (Engineering Faculty, Peradeniya), darling mother of Dilan (St. Anthony’s Ind. Group Pvt. Ltd.), daughter of Mr. J.M. Silva (Former A.G.A. Ja-ela) and Harriet, daughter-in-law of late Mr & Mrs Julian Perera, sister of Chrishantha (Sri Lankan Airlines, IT Dept) and Malkanthi (Link Engineering Ltd.) sister-in-law of Srimathi and Dr. Susantha Perera (C.E.B.), Hemalatha and Henry Mendis, Chithra and Francis Ratnayake, expired. Cortege leaves   “Malpaya”, 830A, Ketagewatte Road, Ragama at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 10th January for burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Church Burial Ground, Ragama.

Cortege leaves residence at 3 p.m.   No.62, Nissanka Road, Dambulla funeral at the family burial ground on Thursday 10th January 2002.
