MP Namal Rajapaksa made this observation at a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the Deyata Kirula Exhibition 2013 at the Hardy Technological Institute in Ampara yesterday.

He said Deyata Kirula is not an exhibition meant for entertainment, but a long term programme which will provide benefits to future generations.

The MP said the President initiated the Deyata Kirula exhibition to expedite development, and many provinces have reaped its fruits. People in the Eastern Province who suffered due to the three decade long war could learn much from the exhibition, and they must act with enthusiasm to make optimum use of the opportunity, he said.
