Strong winds to continue in coastal areas

Strong South West monsoonal winds will continue over the island
especially in the coastal areas, Meteorology Department meteorologist-
in - charge D A Jayasinghearachchi said.
Heavy rains cannot be expected in most parts of the country for
another two to three weeks apart from the south west quarter of the
country, he said.
Jayasinghearachchi said there will be light showers in the Western,
Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces, especially in the
mornings.
