Water projects for Northern families

Muslim Aid Sri Lanka (MASL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka to provide water facilities for around 400 recently resettled families in Mannar and Mullaitivu districts. The MoU was signed by High Commissioner Seema Ilahi Baloch and MASL Country Director Faizer Khan.

The ceremony was held at the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo. High Commission and MASL representatives also participated. An MASL spokesperson said through this project, MASL can provide safe drinking water for around 400 families in the area.

MASL has been working in the Northern Province constructing permanent houses, renovating hospitals, supporting livelihood initiatives for returnees and providing water and sanitation facilities to resettle people.
