Tribute to past MICH stalwarts
The Moors’ Islamic Cultural Home will name three blocks of their
Pasha Villa Building Complex after three Stalwarts, namely Marhoom A.H.
Macan Markar, Marhoom A.I.L. Marikar and Marhoom M.H.M. Kamil who had
served the institution with dedication and commitment.
The event will be held on Tuesday May 29 at 4.45 p.m at the Pasha
Villa premises at No. 115, Dematagoda Road, Colombo 9 under the
patronage of Justice Minister Rauff Hakeem as Chief Guest and Western
Province Governor Alavi Moulana and Colombo Mayor A.J.M. Muzammill as
Guests of Honour.
Colombo Special Commissioner and former President – MICH Alhaj Omar
Kamil will preside at the event. |
