DSS hold Antonians to a 10 all draw

The Singer Schools U-20 League Rugby match between D.S.Senanayake College Colombo and St.Anthony's College Kandy ended in a 10 all draw with both teams scoring two tries each in their Singer segment one rugby match played at CR and FC Grounds,Longden Place yesterday.

D.S.Senanayake College started to earn points with the help of a try by the second rower Nikshan Amendra.But unfortunately the conversion was missed by Pramith Tharindu.The Senanayakians didn't allow Antonians side to score a single point in the first half.And DSS led 5 - 0 at half time

The match was played with fierce tacklings and strong attacks. The crowd seemed to be very excited and the cheer was loud for both sides.

In the second half the Antonians side started to rise up with a try by K.Dushyanth. Lakshan Vishwajith contributed to the DSS side with another try which helped to add five points and DSS led 10 -5 . But the Antonians hit back with an unconverted try by Chinthaka Wickramarachchi to make it 10 all at the final whistle. Dimithri Gunasekara referred.
