Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris will leave for Egypt today to
address the Ministerial Meeting of Non Alignment Movement (NAM)
Coordinating Bureau to be held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
During the meeting Prof. Peiris will make two presentations on May
10th, one on behalf of Sri Lanka and the other on behalf of Asia Pacific
Group of NAM, at the closing stages of coordinating Bureau meeting. In
addition Prof. Peiris will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of NAM,
including NAM chairman (Egypt). Prof. Peiris will also meet Egyptian
Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Ali Amr on the sidelines of the
conference.
