Ruwan hits third ton this season

Vidyartha College Vice Captain Ruwan Bandara hit his third century for the season when he tonned an aggressive 130 with 22 fours off 113 balls in their schools under 19 cricket tournament match against S. Thomas' College, Kotte which began at the open Prison Camp grounds, Pallekele yesterday.

The match will be continued today at 9.30 am.

Ruwan Bandara put on 89 for the first wicket with skipper Nilukshan Galapitige who made 29.

Ruwan Bandara who has scored 970 runs this season looks set to become first school cricketer from Kandy to reach 1,000 runs this season.

Vidyartha College have made 325 and in reply the Kotte Thomians have made 72 for 1.

N.S. Sewwinna bowled his left arm spinners to capture 5 wickets for 123.
