Medals this year at the Culinary Art 2011.
The Chef's Guild of Sri Lanka is a prestigious association of Sri
Lanka's finest professional chefs. An organization dedicated to the
professional development of chefs and cooks in our island nation, they
organize the Chef's Guild Awards annually. This year the historic Galle
Face Hotel walked home with a whopping forty four medals, 7 more medals
than they won last year.
In the kitchen Department Chef Sanjeeva won with five medals: 02
Gold, 01 silver and 02 Bronze medals. The Chefs of Galle Face Hotel won
under various categories in the Food section, from pastry showpiece to
chocolate carving to butter carving to hot cooking.
