Siviraja Deaf and Blind School take major honours
Siviraja Deaf and Blind school, Mahawewa took honours by winning
three Caltex trophies as champions and one Caltex Runners-up trophy at
the Deaf Schools Sports Activities held recdently. The deaf schools
six-a-side softball cricket tournament was held at the Health grounds,
Borella Colombo - 8 while the Deaf Schools Netball tournament was held
at the school for the Deaf Gorunds, Ratmalana.
The Deaf schools volleball tournament (boys and girls) was also held
at the school forth Deaf Grounds, Ratmalana. it was followed by the
awards ceremony in the evening on the final day The Deaf schools sports
activities were organized by the Deaf School Past Pupils' Association,
The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana, under the distinguished past pupil
Shivantha Vivekanandan who is President and Chairman - organizing
committee and was part partnered by Chevron Lubricants Larka PLC for the
10th successive year. Kishu Gomes, Managing Director/CEO, Chevron
Lubricants Lanka PLC was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes.

Deaf, Ratmalana by 2 runs.
Siviraja Deaf and Blind School, Mahawewa 51 runs all out in 4.4 overs.
The School for the Deaf, Ratmalana 50 runs allout in 4.5 overs.
