Inner Wheel District 322 hosts South Asian rally
Inner Wheel District 322 of Sri Lanka hosted the Second South Asian
Rally recently which was participated by over 700 members from Sri
Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and Singapore. The aim was
to promote fellowship in South Asia and foster inter-ethnic
understanding.
The rally was held at Chaaya Village in Habarana under the patronage
of International Inner Wheel president Dr. Pallavi Shah.
The programme showcased songs, dances and enumeration of traditions
of the participating countries as well as competitions and games.
Inner Wheel is an International Service Organization comprising
wives, sisters, mothers and daughters of Rotarians and members of
Rotaract. |
