Ogilvy secures ICC World Cup 2011 campaign
Ogilvy and Mather is named the Official Advertising and Media Agency
for ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Ogilvy South Asia pitched for the
business in April 2010, as a joint team with the representation from
India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The pitch team lead by Ogilvy South Asia Executive Chairman Piyush
Pandey included, Kunal Jeswani, Abhijit Avasthi and Rajiv Rao from
Ogilvy India, Sudesh Sundhara Moorthy from Phoenix Ogilvy, Sri Lanka and
Paratha Salahuddin from Ogilvy Bangladesh. The World Cup campaign will
be carried out by all three host country offices of Ogilvy.
The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, the 10th Cricket World Cup, will be
hosted by three South Asian Test cricket playing countries; India, Sri
Lanka and Bangladesh. The World Cup will take place during February and
March 2011.
And the opening match will be played on February 19, 2011 between
India and Bangladesh at Dhaka. The planned semi-final venues are the R.
Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka and PCA Stadium in Mohali,
India. The final is scheduled to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in
Mumbai, India. |
