Lecture on rural development

The Rural Development Training and Research Institute (RDTRI) will
conduct a public lecture and discussion series focused on rural
development on the first Thursday of every month at 3 pm.
The first lecture of the series on theme - 'Village and its heritage
in the era of globalization' by Prof Jagath Weerasinghe will be held on
March 4 at conference hall at Rural Development and Training Institute,
Borella.
Briefing on the program's main objective, RDTRI Assistant Director
Tilak Hettiarachchi said the program has been designed to form a
discourse regarding Sri Lanka village development, create opportunities
for those studying and interested with this area, express their views
and expose their findings through researches. |
