Dengue breeders face the music

Seven suspects who pleaded guilty to the charges of allowing dengue mosquitoes to breed on concrete slabs above their dwelling houses and other buildings were sentenced to three months rigorous imprisonment suspended for five years by Panadura Magistrate Thushara Rajasinghe.

In another case, a house owner in Kehelwatta who pleaded guilty to the same charge was sentenced to three months rigorous imprisonment suspended for five years by Magistrate Thushara Rajasinghe.
