Two unidentified gunmen on a motorbike shot dead H. M. Punchisingho (62) of Surakkulama, Andigama with a T56 weapon on Tuesday evening at the PA branch office.

The deceased is a strong supporter of former Puttalam District Minister and Agriculture Deputy Minister D. M. Dasanayake. The victim was with several other PA supporters in the branch office at the time of the incident.

One culprit has been identified by two victims, Anamaduwa police said.
