First tranche open to local market : Indian Govt offers Lanka $ 100 million credit facility By Pravin Mendis The Government of India has offered the Sri Lankan Government a credit facility of US$
100 million of which US$ 45 million, the first tranche for this year is now open to the
local market for the importation of capital goods, consumer durables and food items.The
three - year credit facility will be provided in three tranches of US$ 45 million, 50
