JVP leader felicitates Amaradeva

Leader of the People's Liberation Front (JVP) Somawansa Amarasinghe in a felicitation message addressed to Ramon Magsaysay Award Winner Pandit Dr. Amaradeva conveys his highest regards and deep appreciation of the dedication and sacrifices rendered by Dr. Amaradeva to bestow upon the country the honour of establishing an international identity in the field of indigenous music.

The message was delivered to Dr.Amaradeva last morning at his residence by JVP Propaganda Secretary and the Leader of JVP Parliamentary Group Wimal Weerawansa and the JVP Kurunegala District MP Bimal Ratnayake.

Amaravansa said he hopes to call over on Dr. Amaradeva personally to convey his congratulations. He concludes with best wishes for long life and good health to Dr. Amaradeva.
