The People's Bank is confident of achieving its financial target predetermined for this year, a return to profitability, Chairman, Mano Tittawella said. The bank has been able to gain a strong financial position following the restructuring program introduced in May last year. "We are already on track compared with the budget in the first six months of the year, " he told the Daily News in an interview.
